As we begin another year here at Cornell we are excited to continue the legacy of the Xi. With 49 active members, 21 of whom are members of our most recent class, the brotherhood is strong and poised for future success. Our brothers are involved in a wide array of student groups, ranging from club sports to research labs to honor societies. We have strong leadership presences on the Varsity Sprint Football, Club Lacrosse, Club Soccer, Club Baseball, Heavyweight Rowing, and Club Track and Field teams. Our leadership presence on campus speaks well to the core values of our fraternity.
Our various committees within the brotherhood have been meeting to plan events for the coming semester. Following the success of our house band’s Benefit Concert, raising over $3,000 to benefit EGBOK, our philanthropy chairs for the second year in a row have planned a No Shave November fundraiser benefitting the Cancer Research Institute. With increased involvement from our newest class and continued guidance from older members, our executive board is well-suited to have a triumphant year.
We are eager to celebrate the 150th anniversary of our storied fraternity at homecoming. We believe it will be an excellent opportunity to make connections across the many generations of our organization. We hope that you all keep the Xi close to your hearts now and in the years to come.
